“Too much construction that I wasn’t aware of”

“I wanted to share my disappointment regarding my recent stay at Doubletree Hilton Jacksonville Riverfront and will include all photos at the end. I originally booked this hotel because I have fond memories of staying here with my family years ago when it operated as the Crowne Plaza. On the drive to the hotel, I was telling my wife how excited I was to show her a place that I remembered so positively. Unfortunately, the experience was nothing like I remembered. “I've never been in a hotel where housekeeping hasn't left a few rolls of toilet paper. The day before we left, she didn't leave toilet paper, and we ran out in the middle of the night and had to use kleenex. Our room was way to far from the lobby. It took us more than 10 minutes to walk to the elevator to the lobby every time. One section of elevators wasn't working. The detour signs took us no where. After about 5 minutes, a staff member led us through the garage and through multiple staff……
