「The staff was nice property needs some updates a bit , it had a must smell like a wet smell throughout hallways and rooms didn’t like that made it feel heavy just by the smell other then that the stay was ok food was fair loved my ocean view room. A lot of excursions was cancelled because of flood/rains including the one at Royal Lahana 」

「The pros are the hotel has great facilities for families, they have some really good slides for the kids, an arcade room, a Starbucks nearby and also car rental. There are two restaurants onsite and a few others within proximity. I also like the lobby area where they have a couple of tree swings, chess and some activities for the kids. 「I give it a 3.0 rating. Most of the staff was great, a few mediocre. Rooms are a bit run down and aged. Hotel was generally clean for its age. I’m a Hilton person and compare it to a run down Hilton Doubletree. Food was below average - Luau food was comparable to a Golden Corral - almost inedible. Like airplane food on a domestic flight.
