“Built in 1892, the Brown Palace has seen better days. The bathroom sink had cracks that encompassed the bowl. The ceiling had several patches of paint ready to fall, in addition to stains. One curtain rod was partially snapped off. There were few amenities i.e. shower cap. Staff processed my bill incorrectly. This is a Marriott BonVoy property.”

“The hotel features great decor and architecture but this was undermined by a poor experience. The hotel does not have a proper events venue so it uses the restaurant to host weddings and other private events that deny access to the guests of the hotel. Hotel guests should be a priority for this type of hotel and unfortunately that is not the case. We were asked to walk to another restaurant for restaurant service and directed to eat snacks from the minibar instead. During our stay there were……

“There was a water main break so we were without water for an entire day. I received no notification of the issue or any status updates while it was being fixed. All that was offered was a case of water left in the hallway so if you happened to see it you could grab a bottle or two before the case was gone, but it was not enough to shower or flush a toilet. Even after water was back on, I had no hot water for the remainder of my stay. They did offer an extended happy hour and some chili to……
