"What an incredible gem of a property with the best staff of associates. Great location for temple and shrine visits. An easy taxi/uber ride to the downtown area to visit food market and other great areas The attention to all the details is next level!"

"One of the best hotels in the world. And definitely the best I have ever stayed at in my life. The employees are so friendly and leave enough space for customers. The rooms are so comfortable that they made me have a great sleep. The price is worth it."

"Loved the onsen and the room layout. It was incredibly spacious and tidy. I loved the decor and the room amenities. The hotel is very conveniently located to the station and the deer park. The deer wander in to the hotel regularly and it’s so peaceful. We did not book breakfast as we personally prefer a western style breakfast. It would be lovely if the restaurant had more options for dining."

"A truly exceptional and unique hotel experience in the heart of Higashiyama. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a special place to stay while in Kyoto. A worthwhile destination in its own right, and absolutely wonderful hospitality and service. "

"객실도 특별하고 직원분들도 너무 친절하며 감옥 경험을 제대로 할 수 있으 재미도 있었습니다~"

"Highly recommend Yuhi House! Very dog friendly. Felt like home. "
