“Really liked the layout of the King suite Space well utilized. The pool was very clean”

“I was surprised that the breakfast was more like a quick continent breakfast at a holiday inn. I would have expected more from this historic tutwiler Hampton Inn and Suites”

“The staff was wonderful. The room was clean, but the couch cushion had stains on it. The sink in the kitchenette also drained slowly. We were thankful for the supplies in the room - dish soap, paper towels, etc. The property seemed newer and was nicely appointed. The grounds had some trash on it. The pool was dirty and cold with no pool towels clean. It closed fairly early too which was upsetting (8pm). The breakfast buffet was okay, but the warm food didn't stay that way, and they ran out of……

“Breakfast was a very basic. I would expected a little better options. Staff was very friendly and helpful, including texting check in. That was unique.”

“Do not stay here! This place needs some serious work done…. The vending machines did not work, stains on sheet, mold on bathroom ceiling and toilet was clogged in my first room so they moved me… ac frozen in new room, brought keys to move me next door to original room but someone had just checked in (which confused the hell out of the front desk guy), moved again, chair broken but ac worked… at this point the other half of my party arrived and we all opted to leave… the front desk guy did his……

“From the staff at check in to the staff at check out and all parts in between this was an amazing place to stay. So very nice to be welcomed and greeted after a long day of driving. The room was wonderful and my only complaint if you want to call it that was that our room A/C never cooled to what I set the thermostat at. Not sure if it was not working properly or what. Everything else was amazing though”

“This is a very good place and located on a curved hill. It is much nicer than a regular Hampton inn.”

“The property is older, in need of updating. The bed was very comfortable. The linen was soft, appeared good quality. The room and hallway musty and dark, understandable when there are no windows to open. Shower was hot, good water pressure. The potty was very low, looked to be for a toddler rather than adults. But that’s the way they used to be…. Another upgrade needed. When u are older with a bad back, it’s difficult. Not the 1st place that had one of those very low potty’s.”

“The staff was not well informed about some of the amenities there the hotel was very clean . The manager was no where to be found I couldn't even get him on the phone poor customer service as far as the manager I booked a day there cancelled the day and Expedia couldn't get a hold of the manager to honor the day I missed the room was paid for they didn't refund me nor honor the day I missed so work on your management then the total experiencecwill be exceptional”
