「Our room, number 8, was very comfortable. We had enough area for our things, but our traveling companions’ room was very tight. Our bed was very comfortable and the shades and curtains made the room very dark, which was so helpful with so much sunshine in Alaska. It was nice to be able to use the kitchen refrigerator and be able to wash dishes. The breakfast was delicious and served in a timely manner. Please know there are two flights of stairs to manage in getting your suitcases upstairs....

「Showed up after a late flight and room was not available. Someone did answer the phone when I called which was appreciated. Some advanced notification would have been helpful. It left us without a room after a late flight. The location did not match the Expedia photos. The address was in a run down part of town with no signage.」

「My friend and I were very excited to be visiting Alaska for the first time. We were also excited to be staying at the Halcyon bed-and-breakfast as the photos looked very nice. Upon arrival, we entered the owners upstairs living room, only to find it in complete disarray, very messy and not very clean. That immediately made us wonder if we should actually be eating breakfast in this home. The hosts were very nice, but our concern was the property and its poor condition. Our room and not very...

「We were welcomed by Scott to a comfortable, cozy home with everything we needed for our stay. He gave us tips on the area and went above and beyond with lending my daughter a phone charger when she misplaced hers. He was prompt with responses when we had any question and we really enjoyed riding the bikes along the park trails that were included! Great experience. Well managed property.」
