“As advertised , Very clean. Would stay again”

“The room was clean and tidy and the owners were friendly. However, there were a few issues that detracted from the overall stay. First, the room smelled like cats which could be because there were three cat carriers in the closet. Second, the electrical outlets seemed improperly installed and did not easily work with the various chargers we needed to charge. Third, the photo used to identify the site was taken in a part of the house that we as guests did not even have access to so it seemed……

“This was our second stay at Casa Lobato and everything was great. The home is spacious and comfortable and we love the views. Marcell is very responsive if you have any questions. Our family and friends had an amazing time. See you next year….”

“Despite rain nearly everyday of our stay, we managed to have a great time due to all the house has to offer - ample space, a chef's kitchen, board games, and a stately fireplace. When the rain did stop, we enjoyed the stream and fire pit outside. 30 kin to Kent Waterfalls State Park, a must see.”

“Charming home with lovely gardens. Comfortable and luxurious house. Easy communication. High end linens, enviable mattresses, chefs kitchen for indoor or outdoor dining. Ideal place for board games with family in front of the fire, or a sophisticated gathering. This is a special, curated house.”

“The home and property were the perfect place to spend Christmas. There were two bedrooms on the first floor and three more on the second floor. We had a wonderful time. I was able to bake and prepare many special meals and goodies. The host had a few beautiful decorations for the holiday which gave it a feeling of home. The Christmas tree farm behind the property was picturesque for the season and the neighbors had lights in their trees and around their home.”

“Its hard to put into words how amazing this property is, and the pictures can't come close to showing you how beautiful it truly is. From the welcoming farmhand Scooter to show us around the property and letting us meet all the working farm animals, and the hospitality of Bill and Amy. The wood floors and rustic chic are outstanding, along with a prepared wood fire place ready to go and plenty of extra fire wood and kindling for each night of your stay. The covered porches and rocking chairs……

“This was our second stay at this property and it is just delightful. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable sitting spaces and enough room to spread out. Convenient to our event and we hope to be back again!”

“We booked the Chapel for a quick weekend to check out the FDR Home and other sights around Hyde Park and Dutchess County. The place was perfect for our needs! Glen was very helpful and communication was excellent. We loved that the property has chickens and a wild turkey.”
