"I live in Philly and planned on staying here for one night after attending a wedding nearby in Bala Cynwyd. The property is outdated and garishly designed. You can tell they've attempted to upgrade over the years by just adding a hodgepodge of wall and ceiling accents/lights, and a dozen different paint colors. The maids were using old shopping carts to carry linens and cleaning equipment. There were two types of old linoleum flooring in the room that my sneakers were sticking to as soon as I walked in. The lights were bright white and one of them buzzed loudly which was off-putting and I turned it off right away. There was an overwhelming smell of a cheap air freshener that gave me a headache. I got back to the hotel at 12:30am and immediately grabbed my overnight bag and turned in my key at the front desk as I was not comfortable staying the night at all. The front desk attendant didn't even bother pausing his personal phone call or ask why I was leaving in the middle of the night. Wasted $161 on a hotel room that I didn't even sleep in because it was so uncomfortable, and is absolutely not worth the price they're charging. Plus, I had to pay for a Lyft in the middle of the night to drive me the 30 mins home. Overall, waste of time and money and would never recommend staying here to anyone."

"Yes when you enter the front lobby you have to go upstairs on the second floor to check in well I did not know that so I ask Cindy to help me and she just gave me this look like duh your suppose to chime in and the front desk person will automatically open the front doors so I gave her that look back like how was I supposed to know that but other than that my stay was fine……oh yeah the hot tub was out of service !!!!"

"The location was sketchy. There were open lots full of glass and trash on multiple sides. It's on a street with three different police stations and you hear sirens at all hours of the night. Just up the street in any direction are people smoking pot, sitting on stoops, and looking at you with a mean look. There is a homeless shelter on the next block. Inside was newer and clean, but the quality of the construction is SO poor that it's embarrassing. See photos. Each room had a mini split and, even on low fan with the temp set to 72, it was like an ice box inside. Overhead 5K lighting is terrible and feels so bad. These lights should never, ever, be used indoors. The water was not hot, the shower head, was lame and not adjustable, the sink and tub were small. The desk was absolutely TINY. While there is a kitchen, there were no supplies like paper towels, soap, dishwasher soap, a drying rack, a tea kettle, a toaster, or anything. We asked and they were not offered. The freezer did have an ice maker. The bed was nice. Good sheets and pillows and a softer mattress made that nice. We left a day early and were not offered any refund or even a thank you."

"Rooms are well dated. Bathroom showing mold and wear above shower Rm 514. Carpet needs repair. Desk chair dirty and dresser dirty. Behind bed and dresser dirty and not kept."

"This apartment was nice as it had 2 separate bedrooms and amenities such as AC and TVs in each room, however it was a bit disappointing. We were given minimal supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, and towels to bathe with) so we had to personally stock up on those. It was not very clean- the bedding had random stains on it and the bath tub had a used (and stained) shower liner in it. The bathtub wouldn’t drain fully when being used. There were also a lot of air fresheners all over, which I’m assuming was to mask the smell of cat pee and weed from the other tenants in the hallway. We also kept getting woken up in the middle of night by traffic and tires screeching outside, but that is just what comes with visiting Philly. There was plenty of free parking on side streets, which was very convenient. Overall, it was a fine stay for the price; it was fairly clean and felt safe for the area. Instructions on how to enter were easy to follow, and check out was simple. I would recommend if you’re on a budget."

"Really great stay. Staff were all so friendly. Good food in the restaurant. A live singer in the evening. Nice/quiet location. Comfortable bed! Enjoyed the stay!"

"I would not recommend staying at The Golfers Inn. Our experience on 5/07/26 was very disappointing. The staff was rude and unprofessional, and the rooms were extremely dirty. We found hair and dirt in the bed, which made it obvious the sheets had not been properly changed. We asked for another room, but the second room was dirty as well. Room 228 had a broken bathroom door, and cigarette smoke was coming through the vents the entire time. The overall condition of the property felt unsanitary and poorly maintained. This place seriously needs better management, proper cleaning, and major improvements before guests should consider staying here. Be warned."
