“We were in Carbondale for the solar eclipse, so the hotel was very busy. The staff was still very friendly and the manager in particular was very enthusiastic about greeting each guest.”

“The room was very nice, large, quiet and updated. The bed was very comfortable. The only downfall is the breakfast. They do offer some grab-and-go type items. It would be much nicer to have a better selection of hot foods that you don't have to microwave. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. ”

“Very please and enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend the place. I will make a suggestion for the cleaner. My wife has a skin sensitivity and we have come accustom to using only soaps that have no smell. The bed linens and bath towels were washed with a scented detergent and for us was a bit too much. Other than that a great experience. Thank you for making a great place to get away.”

“I don't often leave reviews but this hotel is exceptional. The owner showed me to the room and explained all the facilities. The room itself was huge, beautifully clean and with the wonderful quirk of still resembling a school classroom. Some previous guests had even left messages on the blackboards. I made use of both the Jacuzzi and the separate shower, and enjoyed the cooked breakfast which was brought to my room in the morning. I didn't make use of the complimentary popcorn and DVD selection……

“I loved being away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The home is cozy but the water pressure for showers was almost non existent. It would be nice to have better internet for rainy days. But overall nice stay and beautiful home and outdoor space.”

“Quite woodland retreat. A wonderful cabin with two beds and a sitting area with TV and eating area. Great size room, not far from the main building where you order your dinner to go and eat it in your cabin due to COVID Friendly staff Bring your shampoo and conditioner ”
