“We stayed in Plaka, and for Athens Retro, in Monastiraki to get a taste of locations and vibe. Just off the bat, the location may be a bit more hectic and which way you walk may or may not be your cup of tea so plan accordingly. The best part here was our hotel Athens Retro, and as the word retro, you have to like the vibe which we so enjoyed with the decor from the lobby table, lighting, seating it sure was a cool cool place. The included breakfast and all day beverage was a bonus to sit……

“Sotiris was a super friendly host and added to our very comfortable stay in this hotel after our nightmare start to our trip! I would highly recommend staying here as it is super clean and spacious. Whilst in a busy area it is very quiet which means you can get a good nights sleep! It is within walking distance to the Monastiraki station and if you are one that likes to walk within walking distance to all of the beautiful landmarks Athens has to offer! You will be spoilt for choice for food and……

“Probably the best Hostel I’ve been too! Went in a 4 bed room that included a bathroom, and the hostel itself is very clean and neat and very close to the Acroplis. And the best this is the top floor! You can see the Acroplis from there! It’s a very good view and great for pictures! The top floor is pretty with Vegtables and plants. The hotel also proves a good breakfast and a nice circus themed vibe. 10/10”
