“They had a crows nest type deck to sit and enjoy the water which was great. We went in March so still chilly. We will opt for 2nd or 3rd floor next time. They had wine and cheese at 4pm and continental breakfast at 8 am-ish. Flies made cheese and crackers part unappealing and it was not even available first night. Continental breakfast was ehhhh. Most options were past sell date. Mike greated us when we got there and showed us around. Super nice. Would have liked to have a list of restaurants……

“We had a pleasant stay. Our room had 2 beds and a sitting area with a full balcony. Continental breakfast had a lot of choices and snacks were always out. I would stay there again.”

“It was okay. You do get what you pay for. The location is excellent. We were supposed to be on the first floor and when we went into the room it was NOT ready so we went back and got upgraded to another room in the second floor. The room head ocean view so that was nice. During one of the days the hot water went out but we called and they said they’re working on it and indeed that was fixed quickly (or at least quickly after we noticed it). The breakfast was okay everyday the same. The coffee……

“This was our third time staying here and never again. It has gone way downhill ended up leaving right after checkin. There was a terrible smell that greeted us in the hallway and into our room. Everything was very dirty. The ac/ heat was super musty smelling. Will never return. ”

“Ocean view is stunning. I loved going to sleep and waking up to the sight and sound of the ocean. Great local places open close by- even in March! ”

“The property is convenient to the beach, has plenty of parking, has a gym, pool and laundry room as well. The carpet on the halls smells and s stained and could use a good professional cleaning. Rooms are comfortable and have a kitchenettes. It was nice to have a fridge. Great staff. ”

“Our stay at Cypress Moon Inn was idyllic! The home is close to amenities. Cocooned on a large waterfront lot in a haven of trees, you feel miles away from the bustle. Upon arrival, Linda warmly greeted us and ensured our comfort before offering a dinner suggestion. Ocean Boulevard was a spot-on recommendation! The next morning, Greg shared local knowledge of the greater Outer Banks region. We followed several of his suggestions, resulting in an engaging and lovely day of exploration. The……

“Clean, comfortable and affordable room with nice shower! Bri met us with a smile and showed us around the place. We were not able to use the cute fire-pit area or tiki bar due to inclement weather, but I'm sure it's a hit on nice evenings. Coffee and tea are available 24/7 in the main house. Rooms come with a fridge which is great if you go out to eat and have leftovers. Centrally located on the island. ”

Staff was very friendly and very accommodating for a last minute decision to stay and unsure if I would need to stay another night due to a road closing and undetermined reopening. The staff tried to help me figure the status of the road closing keeping me from my home. Very kind”
