"Lovely room, good breakfast, nice staff, free parking, great swimming pool and sauna."

"The room was clean as although dated. We intended to have evening meal but when we sat in the bar/restaurant area for 10 minutes, we observed utter chaos with no leadership of staff. The Bar person was uninterested with no urgency. The bar was full of unwashed empty glasses. No way to run a bar. We left and ate elsewhere. We would not recommend this hotel."

"Plenty of good off-street parking. Everything seemed in a good state of repair and it looks like a lot of work has been done to a good standard too. Comfortable and clean room for a young family. Standard buffet fare for breakfast (only small criticism is that the juices are not pleasant to drink). Friendly staff and we had a great evening meal at the Bridge restaurant (affiliated or partnered with the Westlands). We’d absolutely stay again. "

"Nice guest house in a small village. Nice drive up on small windy road up from Pitlochry. It was great to meet Linzi and Ralph who were very hospitable, we had a few drinks in the well stocked bar and breakfast was self service Continental. We were the only guests on this day, so plenty of space and nice and quiet. Family room was spacious. "

"Ballathie is in a lovely setting. We awoke to a beautiful, sunny spring morning and had a stroll round the gardens before heading off home after breakfast. The day before, we'd had a delicious meal in the dining room. Room was good, bar was cosy, all in all a very nice place. "
