"What a wonderful place to enjoy Cabo!
Central to everything, the view of the harbor from our room alone was incredible...
It's an older hotel,but it is obvious the staff have pride in it,and it shows in their work. All but ONE staff member were genuine,friendly and welcoming.
The Lighthouse restaurant on the boardwalk for breakfast was great and the service was perfect. (We came back TWICE)
The lovely woman (Miriam) at check in gave us a perfect room on the third floor away from the pool and other partying guests...she made our trip!! Thank you.
Not to say that the pool area wasn't amazing...it was. Great to cool off,listen to music and have some drinks served by friendly staff.
The only BAD experience we had was with the Concierge upon arrival. Under the guise of explaining all the amenities and suggestions for around the hotel,he gave us the HARD SELL on buying into the Members Club. Even after explaining that we had traveled for hours on 3 flights and just needed to get situated first,he proceeded to try to pressure us ,even asking why we didn't want to "help him". Extremely off putting..to say the least.
We never asked another question of the hotel and navigated the area on our own.
Other than that initial experience (which initially made us question our choice of lodging) everyone working and everything else about the hotel was wonderful. It truly is a gem and we were feeling very lucky we chose this romantic unpretentious place."
