“The Sonesta Hilton Head Resort was one of the best resorts that I have stayed. The staff were friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to make our stay very pleasant. The beach was amazing.”

“Rooms clean. Front desk very considerate and helpful. Room was not cleaned early. Tended to do lat afternoon when. Already back. When I called immediately they brought fresh towels. Breakfast was good. Some of the staff stood there when there were empty bins on food and I had to ask and then they brought it out. I just think it was one person but it impacted on my time. In all a great stay.”

“Overall stay was nice. Pool was terrific with exception of bar service. Only one person working every day at bar. Wait times were excessive. Room was spacious but walls are thin. We could here person in room next to us snoring at night which was troublesome to sleep.”

“I feel like I was deceived upon searching and reading on expedia.com this hotel seemed very clean and convenient for what I needed. I was traveling with 2 year old toddler and upon arrival the room did not have a microwave, the room’s air conditioning temperature was very warm, the refrigerator was not working and the room’s floor had hair on the corners and crevices of the bathroom. Also did not like that the hotel is not all enclosed. As soon as you get out of your room your outside. The……

“First the smell was horrible. I’m not sure what it was but it wasn’t pleasant in the hall ways or in the room I was tempted to leave as others did but I used my OneCash and didn’t want to come out of pocket for a quick one night trip. The a/c leaked pretty bad floor gets super wet. Then the a/c kept wanted to switch to heat so a bit annoying. The pet fee is pretty high and not the same as I had seen on Expedia. “This is a challenging review to write because the staff were very friendly and the property is beautiful, however we waited over 2 hours past when our room should have been ready, had scalding hot water only on the first night and then only luke warm throughout our stay and woke up to no electricity on our last day. It is a very expensive resort ( called 5 star) so these things should not happen. Plus we've heard nothing from them after reporting this.”
