“We were welcomed with big smiles and fresh complimentary juices. Our room was upgraded without additional fees. Good variety of breakfast. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Mendis & Sudish who work at Breeze Restaurant. The hotel and surroundings are very neat, also easy access to the beach. Near to seafood restaurants. Excellent service throughout the stay. Totally recommend!”

“Clean property and room, walking distance to the beach. Also we had a good view from the balcony (partial sea). Very nice and accommodating staff. Suresh and Shami were very helpful. Good quality food and portion size (we didn't know that breakfast was included so I suggest checking with them beforehand). Only downside was that there were ants in our room but the staff cleaned the room promptly when we notified them. A minor thing - water pressure in the shower was low so if possible fix it.”

“It was wonderful to return here - I love this hotel. The gardens are beautiful and the beach is clean and fabulous for swimming and long walks. The staff are outstanding. In many years of travel I don’t think I’ve ever seen a hotel staff member more dedicated than the pool guy (pool is great for swimming laps too - 25m). The housekeeping team were great too - and surprised me daily with towel ‘art’ and flowers on the bed. Excellent food too! ”

“The resort is the labor of love of Chamal the owner. 9 private and beautifully done villas set in the middle of nature. We had lunch and dinner everyday in the restaurant by the river. Loved the property, service was warm and friendly and seafood was superb. Great find!”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay here. It was an oasis of calm and tranquility with the gorgeous pool and beautiful garden. The staff couldn’t do enough and the food was wonderful. They arranged our tuk tuks and transfer to our next destination. Top marks.”

“Ho prenotato per una mezza pensione ma al nostro arrivo ci hanno detto che non era inclusa.Posto molto rumoroso,da un lato dava sulla strada e dietro la stazione ferroviaria,le finestre erano prive di vetri.Dalle 22 tutti venivano chiusi dentro e non c'era modo di avere la chiave per uscire.L'unica cosa positiva che la stanza era bella spaziosa e pulita.”

Ich mag gemütliche, freundliche Plätze, die menscheln, die ruhig kleine Fehler haben dürfen, in denen ich mich aber so richtig zu Hause fühle (mein zu Hause hat auch kleine Fehler). Das La Luna ist ein netter Ort. Nach zwei Tagen haben mich alle mit Namen angesprochen, die Kellner haben mir den Kaffee aufs Zimmer nachgetragen und mir gezeigt, wie man Papardan frittiert, der Zimmer-Boy hat mir täglich selbst gepflückte Blumen gebracht und mit den Zimmernachbarn hat sich……
