The cabin was wonderful, peaceful and relaxing. We did a winter rafting tour of the Pine through Pine River Paddlesports. Highly recommend! We take our pup everywhere with us and are grateful that Hawk’s Nest Kabin is dog friendly. We will definitely book again!”

“I booked this property for a guys fishing trip on the Muskegon river and this place didn’t disappoint. Prior to arrival the host was super responsive to all communication. On the day of arrival the host sent me message to let me know I could check in early. The cabin was clean, the internet (Starlink) was fast, there was plenty of propane for the grill and the back portion of the property along the river where the tepee was set up was a very pleasant surprise. I would 100% recommend this……

“Super clean, plenty of parking, nice little lake, quiet area. Close enough to town to get anything you may need, yet tranquil setting. Stayed during the winter, but would love to come back during the summer months.”

“We had an amazing stay here at this house. It was super cozy with the snow all around. We enjoyed the fire and the hot tub every day. The primary bedroom was very comfortable. The driveway was a little rough with our minivan the first night. If there is a lot of snow you may need AWD/FWD. We would definitely return.”

“The property is wonderful lots of extras besides the cabin itself eg. Kayaks ,waterfront ,bikes ,cornhole,ect. The host is very easy to work with just leave things how you found them. I went with my wife and 3 week son and our doggo, And mind you it was cold snowing and raining and we still loved it. We will definitely be back. 5 stars 🌟 10/10 thank you guys from the pauwels family sorry we were a little late checking out 🙂”

“This house was a comfortable and peaceful place for 5 older adults and a dog to stay. A beautiful location and nice place to take walks. The light outside the door did not work when we were there but I let the owner know and I"m sure it's been rectified by now.”

“I had an absolutely wonderful stay. When I arrived, it was becoming clear that it was going to snow overnight and then get very very cold. I was thankful to have restaurants and grocery stores close! After stocking up for the weekend, I just stayed put, and relaxed, and really enjoyed the view of the river as I sipped tea and let the world melt away. Didn’t get to XC ski or FatBike, I was just too cozy. Maybe next time. Definitely will be a next time. This was just what I needed:)”
