“Train station being close is about the only good thing this place has to offer. You have to make it past the bar with a bunch of rowdy drunks talking trash to you just to check in. Whoever took the pictures for this place deserves a raise. The room is tiny. The mattress is old. The bathroom is gross. The carpet is gross. Was woken up at 2 am by a guy pounding on the door next to us begging someone to let him in. This went on for about 15 minutes the first night. There is no security lock on the……

“Property was nice and room ok. Shower was a powerful but temperature kept varying. Bar food and drinks were nice but disappointing that on Expedia (who we booked through) it said pets stay free but on arrival charges were applied for the dog which is why I’ve given a lower rating. Did mention to the member of staff who checked us in but nothing was done about this and Expedia still shows as pets stay free ”

“Nice hotel in beautiful surroundings however the decor is very tired. The staff were very friendly and hospitable and the leisure facilities were good. There is a very limited food menu on offer in the bar and the quality of the food was mediocre at best.”

“Everything was exceptional. The staff was incredibly helpful. The rooms were gorgeous. The food was great. But I cannot say anything better about that staff. They were absolutely lovely.”
