「Nice new hotel but room had stains on the carpet and marks on the chair. Breakfast was good and staff are very friendly. Loads of parking as well.」

「Well situated property. Helpful staff. Clean and tidy room.」

「Great hotel with facilities for either exercising and lots of enclosed land for dogs to run around . Rooms are large, spacious and very clean with ample storage and fridge. Also in very good/ new condition. It was also nice to see that they allocated a nice room that was pet friendly. The bar area which allows your dogs to eat with you is also very comfy and welcoming.Great service and hearty breakfast. Would definately stay again.」

「Rooms are clean, staff very helpful, free parking」

「Spacious room, clean, rooms been modernised. Hallways could do with some renovations」

「Staff always so happy and friendly」

「Great hotel, lovely food, friendly staff and a comfy bed.」

「Good potential but had to negotiate for access to swimming and breakfast on check-in (which was part of listing in the first place!). Quite embarrasing to have to do this in front of other guests in the line when it should have been straight forward. Family enjoyed the stay in the end thankfully. The image of the Hydro-Spa should be removed as its an extra fees.」

「Nice, clean and very large room. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Good hotel which suited our needs.」

「The dog portraits were excellent」

「Convenient and good value. Stayed 1 night to attend a family wedding in the Chorley area. Check-in was easy and we were able to get in the room a little early so we could change and head off to the wedding. We left our car and parked it right outside our window and the bar was still open when we returned. The only negative was the bathroom had a slight musty smell even with the extractor running.」

「Lovely suite with a private garden terrace. Super sandwiches for lunch outside on the terrace, we were lucky with the weather. The only disappointment was with the à la carte main course. There was very limited choice and the fish and the beef fillet were overcooked, a shame for a Michelin star restaurant but we did not complain and it took a long time for our plates to be cleared, but the desserts were great and they were having a busy day.」

「Wi-Fi didn’t work. No Netflix and the room smells cigarettes smoke 」
