Finally found our Boston hotel, after several tries. 1868 is chic, comfortable, and in a perfect location near the subway, coffeeshops, restaurants, pharmacy, bookstore, etc. Surprisingly great workout room!

Great little place for a weekend trip! Room was small (so pack light!) but not much more space is needed for a short trip. Location was perfect - right outside the Porter stop on the Red Line. Walls were on the thinner side so there was a small amount of noise from the rooms around us, but we still slept very soundly! Bed was comfortable and the blackout curtains were much appreciated.

Yes the mini-Queen room is small but it’s SO efficient! There’s even a Keurig. The bed was very comfy - it’s one of those with deep mattresses so at 5’ tall I needed a stool to climb into bed. But they have stools. The staff was fun, friendly, remembered us every time we passed through the lobby. Caffe Nero next door is a great coffee shop. YUME noodles across the street is great.
