“Our stay at the Spindrift Guest House was our favorite across our Scottish travels! Mark and Jennie’s hospitality was amazing and the accommodations were perfect. We took their suggestions for traveling by train into Edinburgh, where to eat in downtown Anstruther, and driving into St Andrew’s. This location was a quick 15-minute drive to the Old Course, which was very convenient since we were going daily to enter the singles draw. “Host is lovey. This is an old pub that’s being converted into various rooms on the top 2 floors. Bathrooms are not on-suite however their are adequate facilities to be shared amongst the rooms so this wasn’t an issue for me. Value for money is second to none. The rooms are clean, tidy and spacious enough for 1-2 travellers. Downstairs their is a kitchen and eating area (multiple booths) so you can prepare and cook your own food. Not much to do in the area, with a pub nearby and some local……
