"Lovely place. Totally spotless and smart. Large comfortable bed. Shower was fine. Breakfast was ok. "

"Good morning, I just wanted to let you know that I experienced a few problems with breakfast during our stay. Firstly, on Saturday morning, when I asked for a coffee, I was given a half cup of cold black coffee by a young man. I did not say anything at the time. The following morning, I bought my own coffee and noticed that everyone else in the restaurant was being served coffee in a small cafetière. I did not understand why this was not offered to me. Also, on Sunday morning, I ordered Eggs Royale. Instead, I was served two boiled eggs on smoked salmon with what looked like two spoons of mayonnaise. I mentioned to the staff that it was not Eggs Royale, but again I left it, as they did not seem to know how to deal with the issue. We had also booked a table on Friday night and could not understand why there were two different dining rooms — one with tablecloths and one plain. When I made the booking, I believed we would be seated in the main restaurant, as there was nothing on the website explaining the difference. Otherwise, the food on Friday night was good and the bedroom was lovely. However, we travel frequently in Scotland and, unfortunately, I will not be returning. "This cottage was very cosy and had everything that you might need for a relaxing holiday. The owners live a few yards away and were so friendly and helpful. You will need some confidence to reverse your car down to the area next to the accommodation and it was so peaceful and secluded during our stay. Highly recommend. "

"Wonderful central location within steps of beaches restaurants and grocery stores (golf too but not why we were there). Great walks along several holes on 2 different coursesThe house is a charming combination of coastal and traditional Scottish decor. It’s everything you need with all modern conveniences (washer dryer dishwasher large refrigerator with an ice maker and Netflix with TVS in every room including the kitchen!). If you are lucky with the weather which we were there is a lovely private back garden with a table and chairs to sit out and enjoy the sun. Some thoughtful gifts in the kitchen upon arrival. Andrew gave us many great restaurant recommendations we only tried 3 but each one was perfect. Gordon who is the local contact met us on check in and replied to our text quickly with a few questions we had. Highly recommended!"
