“Thank you for a wonderful stay at Rivernene Cottages. Hosts Stephen and Phil were amazing and could not do enough for all the guests. We stayed in the Yew Tree Cottage, as a family of 4 (2 teenagers) this was perfect! The entire place is immaculately kept. “Overall great stay. Nice, quite and secure property. Lovely views after a long day at work, it was nice to unwind with a beer and look over the field watching the sun set every night. “All bedrooms on second floor and could be a struggle for seniors. The cottage was fabulous in every way and I would highly recommend. Beautifully decorated and fitted for all. Parking accessibility was a big bonus for us as we had family coming to visit and we did not have to be concerned with street parking. Outdoor space was lovely if the weather would have been nicer. ”

“This is a lovely, spacious and well-appointed house. It was too hot to make best use of the duvets, but the beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of crockery and cutlery - and a dishwasher to avoid the washing up. The powered recliners were especially welcome after a day of much walking. Naturally there is quite a lot of farm activity in the area, but it was far enough away not to be intrusive, and the people on the farm were very friendly and welcoming.
