Over all excellent We liked very much service in the room, we enjoyed the food and all amentties We kindly recomand: the procedure of getting into the buffet needs to be revised, as it takes up to 15 minutes to be seated, especially with kids it is not very convinient to wait this much time! Also we recomand to train some of the stuff not to push for tip. As it is all inclusive, tip needs to be optional!

Amazing resort with great rooms and amenities with a great ocean view from the room and balcony. My family was amazed. Staff feels like family as they treat you so well. The food was good, but the best dining required limited reservations. The seamless integration with next door Garza Blanca resort pools and campus was also nice. Would definitely come back.

The resort is absolutely gorgeous. The resort is big and the rooms are beautiful and clean. The staff is very friendly and they go over and beyond to offer you the best service. The food was delicious. Best resort my family has ever been to. Plenty of activities for the kids. I highly recommend this resort.

This was my first time in Cancun and it was great experience at Villa de Palmar. My froom was big for two with kitchen, 2 bathrooms, large living room and bed room. Everything was good, room service was good, fast and professional. Food was good too but they didn’t have much options for you. But if you are not picky eater, it would be good for you.

My family of 5 and I stayed here for 5 nights and definitely enjoyed ourselves. We did an excursion but booked through Expedia. The beach area was nice and rooms were more than accommodating. The chairs by the main pool by the beach were always filled up so we did not get to swim there much but the kids pool was definitely fun. You do have to get up at 7am to get chairs by the pool. The property should consider adding more chairs somewhere. The restaurants were decent. We walked to the sister property next door and their Japanese restaurant was excellent! I would recommend staying here for sure.

Villa Del Palmar exceeded our expectations. The rooms were extremely spacious. The food was incredible! Best all-inclusive food we've ever had. The restaurants are phenomenal. Great activities/amenities for children who are young to older children. Watersports and the inflatable obstacle course were a hit! Highly recommend for families!

Room and the facilities in general are clean. Love all the staff, they are super friendly and helpful. Food was good and so as the drinks! Beach was beautiful and calm. The resort was only 15 minutes away from Isla Mujeres, great for snorkeling! We felt safe in the resort and will definitely recommend this place to other families.

Our experience was overall okay. We received a room upgrade, which was great! The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and it even had a washer and dryer, which was a nice bonus. The pools were very good, and the food was tasty. We also had a great experience with the female attendant at the beach bar, who was very attentive and friendly. One thing that really bothered us was a woman trying to sell tours as soon as we arrived. I told her I was very tired and not thinking about that at the moment, but she was extremely persistent. Even after I had just entered my room, she called the room, which felt intrusive. The restaurants were good, but the service was not very pleasant. At the end of every meal, they would ask us to check out, seemingly expecting tips. Although everything was supposed to be all-inclusive, we felt pressured to tip constantly. Additionally, a male bartender at the pool bar was quite rude. The beach was very small and had a lot of seaweed. The hotel is good for those who truly just want to relax, but there is absolutely nothing to do at night. After dinner, there are no activities—basically, you just go to sleep. There’s nothing happening after 10 pm at the hotel.

Staff was not friendly and often impolite. They over charged me for 1 kid and after 3 days Expedia made them issue a refund. We had a group of 5 families and only us could not get a room upgrade. The other 4 got it and just after 2 days they moved us for a better room. The internal areas like the gym stinks. But the biggest issue is the staff: they are not polite, they are not available and although it’s all inclusive you need to give room number and get a check after ALL meals. Annoying. The kids space is very poor and the beach is not great: many sea plants and they do not clean it well. There is no activities at night: no live music , small lobby … No 24hrs restaurant and everything closes at 10pm.

The room was good but only because we got a “free” upgrade. The standard rooms are terrible small for a family of 4. Staff is terrible rude. All our dinning, bar and pool staff experience were horrific. It seemed that they were doing us a favor when we asked for something. We got an all inclusive package but we always had to “sign” a check in the end of every meal: that was ridiculous! Beach area is small. Honestly I’ll not recommend this place to anybody and for sure will not go back.

Nice resort, beautiful 2bdrm suite and balconies with hammocks were great for our family with teenagers. Restaurant booking was painful, and with the buffet shut down for private functions leaves options limited, but they do offer 24hr room service. Limited pool/beach lounge chairs, have to resort to mercenary tactics to hold spots…don’t book excursions through onsite service providers. Staff and servers were great. Timeshare and spa sales were irritating. Resort credits are scarce and kept a mystery. Don’t bother advertising them.
