"Great stay! We loved our visit and stay! This house is so close to the beach and steps away to the pool. The house had everything we needed for the beach and was close walk to central Captiva restaurants. Highly recommend!"

"Website is deceiving, this is not a resort like advertised. It is individually owned places managed by a resort. You have to come prepared with food and water. Getting towels at pools by the condos were a constant problem. The views were beautiful and lots of great wildlife to enjoy watching. "

"It is a great place for a get away vacation. The locations is close to outside restaurants. The pool water was warm in late March. The fitness center has dumbbells plus other items. You can catch whiting in the ocean. The best time to fish is 1 1/2 hours before sunset. There is a fish cleaning station that you can use by their marina on the bay side. The rooms come with a refrigerator that does not have a freezer. However, you can drop off items that need to be frozen at the office, and they will be placed in a freezer. The rooms do not come with a microwave oven; however, they will provide you with one for $15 per day. The tennis and pickleball courts are on top of a parking garage. There are low nets around the perimeter of the courts. There is no elevator. There are three floors of rooms. The beds are firm, and the pillows are great. I slept very well. The rooms are very quiet. The air conditioner/heater is controlled by a remote control. There are nice items in the Pelican Roost Boutique, and you can get a !0% military discount there."

"Perfect beach stay for our large family! Gorgeous bedrooms, balconies, and common areas- very user friendly kitchen and awesome pool area. We used the golf cart to deliver the umbrella and chairs to the beach and the kids enjoyed the pool before and after dinner. Gorgeous views from the various balconies and plenty of room to spread out. Magical week. "

"We had a great stay! The property was perfect for our family of 5. Our 14-year-olds — they fished off the dock nearly the entire week and loved it. The hot tub and pool were especially appreciated on the cooler March days and made the trip enjoyable regardless of the weather.The location was fantastic. We rented a golf cart from Salty Wheels, played golf at The Dunes, and had breakfast each morning at Keylime Bistro — all were excellent and very convenient.One small suggestion: the blankets on the beds were fairly thin, which made the cooler nights a bit chilly. Bringing extra blankets or having additional bedding available would make the stay even more comfortable.Overall, a wonderful property and a great experience!"

"We absolutely loved the location! However, the size of the unit was much smaller than anticipated. I described it to my daughter as a luxury-adjacent tropical bedroom. With that being said, we had a most enjoyable stay. Perhaps if we ever return to Captiva we would try to get one of the units on the upper levels."
