“Great to have a centrally located house to use while in town for six nights. The manager was responsive. Very nice kitchen appliances, comfortable sofa. Sweet old house, felt lived in. Lots of decor, hence the forced insurance which I’ve never encountered before. Owners seem to be far right based on signs and decor.”

“Property has everything you will need for a stay and some extra goodies in case you forget anything. Liz is a great host she made the stay and process of checking in and out very simple. The property itself and neighborhood are very nice and away from heavily populated areas so if you are looking for a nice getaway vacation place to stay 100% recommend.”

“I’d like to start out saying the home is very nice and location worked very well for us. There is plenty of room to spread out if you are a larger family. If it were a summer visit I’m sure we would have made use of the pool. There are three seating areas, but only one has a television. We did not have any need forMore than that. I think 2 of the bedrooms have televisions. There is a basketball net, so we Purchased a basketball and the kids enjoyed that. We were notified on arrival……

“Beautiful, peaceful”

“We convened on this property due to getting married in Mount Airy. We travelled from OK, while we had family traveling from VA, PA and NY. Pros: Gorgeous home. Good sleeping arrangements. Comfortable furniture. Accessible to groceries, liquor store, food, I-70. We had wifi so family could work while we were there. Cons: We are a big cooking family; There was no pasta strainer or cheese grater (we purchased and left in the residence). The knives are dangerously dull with nothing to sharpen them.……

“Check-in was super easy. Communication with the owners was quick and easy. There was one hiccup that came up and were very quick to resolve. The house itself is a great historic home. They have done a great job modernizing it. My only feedback would be to have more supplies in the kitchen to accommodate preparing foods like knives, cutting boards, trays, etc. But otherwise, very happy with our stay and the beautiful property, and it being dog friendly!”

“This is our second week-long Christmas stay at the Trevanion House. We absolutely love everything about it! What stands out the most is Mike, the host. He goes above & beyond to make sure our stay is special & memorable. He is very accommodating & easy to reach. The house itself is clean, comfortable & welcoming. Well-appointed kitchen AND summer kitchen. We will be back, for sure!”
