“We really enjoyed our stay at Emerald Isle. The apartment was really nice and clean. We felt at home. The owner's hospitality was the best we've seen in all the many places we visited.”

“Cute little property. Very close to the beach. Perfect for 2 people and a dog that loves the beach”

“I had a pleasant stay it was peaceful and the view was perfect.Very short walk to the Beach.”

“You need more towels for bathing and chairs for the balcony.”

“This place was perfect. We brought our daughter's dog and it was wonderful to be able to let her out and down the steps to the safe, fenced area. We walked to the grocery store which was really convenient. The location was close to restaurants and the beach. Check-in was easy and great communication with the host. Perfect space for 3 adults and our dog.”

“For the price you shouldn’t have to clean up and do half the cleaning that a service should. But it was well kept and I’d love to go back someday.”

“Perfect place for a beach stay. We loved it.”

“The only 2 things that I would add is utensils to go with the dishes and maybe a coffee table to put things on. We found ourselves short on places to put things like groceries other than the floor. Other than that it was a great experience! Definitely would recommend!”

“Absolutely wonderful vacation experience! This was our first VRBO booking and our visit was so relaxing that we plan on continuing to book withVRBO. The home was charming, cozy and comfortable with plenty of room for 2. We found the home well stocked and we were sure to leave some paper products for the next guest. “Clean room. Nice pools. A bit of a hike to the beach but it is beautiful. Also, third floor walk up. Host very kind and responsive. Nice community.”

“Jim and Mary were wonderful hosts as were their two dogs. The apartment had everything we needed for a great week. After the first day our dog felt it was as good as a second home. The location is perfect and the view for a second row was the best as we could see and hear the ocean from the front porch. My favorite part of the island which is narrow and being there earlier in June ensured that the beach was even less busy. Thank you for making our vacation so wonderful!”
