A truly unique property, the house has more than what we needed for amenities and the unique decor gave a calm and homely ambiance. “The house was really great - plenty of room and a nice and serene. Older house with squeaky and uneven floors but the decor and some modern makeovers made it have great character! Communicating with property manager was very easy and we got prompt responses. The only thing worth mentioning that needs attention is the little bridge to go over to get to the driveway. “We arrived when electric crews were restoring service to everyone, and when the generators stopped, the sounds of loons and ducks took over. The property is adorable, you are literally 2 steps from the water. We couldn't stop watching the ducks, different birds, a heron parade down the cove. “The location was amazing! The walk to the lake behind the house was like a dream. That beach was either completely empty or there was a family on the other side. It felt like our own deserted island. And just a short walk down the road was one section of the state park, then a short drive was the sandbar beach.
