"The Staff at this hotel stand out from many other hotels we e stayed in. They were friendly and courteous at all time and may our stay feel very warm and inviting. Thanks to Lewis, Natalie and Sarah to name the ones I got but every single member of staff that we spoke to but don’t get their names were equally important. The food was pretty amazing too and our bedroom although a little tired was very comfortable and as warm as we wanted it to be. We had a lovely few days away and will definitely return again soon. Thank you to each an everyone of the Rufflets Team we had a great time. "

"The apartment was extremely comfortable with a good standard of furnishings. There are good heavy curtains to keep the bedroom dark for night-time. It has a lovely modern bathroom with good shower and well appointed kitchen. The central heating was good, easy to adjust and keep the flat cosy in winter. I found the location perfect for all the lovely things to do in Anstruther and surrounding areas. Communication from Sam before arrival and during my visit was always prompt and pleasant. Thank you! "We very much enjoyed our 2-night stay at the Fairmont in late November. Location is stunning, in close proximity to the sea and accessible coastal path. Our room was large and very comfortable and well furnished. All staff we encountered were extremely helpful, particularly Emma /Emily on reception (who dealt efficiently with a room booking discrepancy caused by Expedia) and Alex on Concierge. Breakfast buffet was excellent, with a la carte options and egg station. Swimming pool was large with a well organised booking system. The spa lived up to expectation. The golf practice facilities were very good and open to all residents. Unfortunately I didn’t get to play the golf courses on site as planned owing to the weather, but they looked scenic and well maintained. There is a regular shuttle bus service into historic St Andrews town, which is a few miles away. Would definitely stay there again. "
