“This stay started out bad on day 1. I arrived at 2:30 in the afternoon, 30 minutes before their check-in time, which is usually no problem for other hotels, it's difficult to plan your trip where you're driving all day and arrive right at check-in time. Well, the lady at the desk told me check-in time is 3:00, come back in 30 minutes, she said they were still cleaning. So, I went to sit in my truck for 30 minutes and watched the maids clean up the last 3 rooms, when I got my key, the room they……

“It was conveniently located to our train excursion. The room was small, but it felt upscale.”

“The room, internet and reception staff were so great, oppose to the staff serving breakfast were terrible. They are unfriendly and unpleasant”

“Simple but nice. Effort was made to add decorator touches and make rooms comfortable. Large rooms with ample closet, refrigerator. Easy check in”

“My room was decorated nicely, just like the photo, but I was surprised about several things: There were crumbs of food all around the base of the bed, the bedspread was tucked in on one side and not the other, there were no cups, no bar soap for the sink, not a thing on the counter except a hair dryer. There was shampoo and conditioner in a container in the shower, and the extra towels were neatly folded and placed on the floor! There were no flyers in the room of restaurants or maps or things……

“Overall, this was the best LA Quinta property I've stayed. It had a lovely and inviting lobby. The room was modern, clean, and very comfortable. I would definitely stay again.”

“We didn’t get to stay in the Stanley proper but stayed at Aspire which ended up being ok because that’s where the pool and hot tub were located and my kids loved that. Rooms were very clean and amenities were satisfactory. Didn’t catch any ghost sightings but I imagine everyone walking up and down the hall right near your room if you’re staying right in the hotel would be annoying after a while or even just screw up if you thought you heard a real ghost or just people looking around. Anyways……

“I’m usually REALLY easy-going about cleanliness, but the bathroom was filthy. There were pee stains on the toilet seat left from the previous people, the sheets had an odor that was really pungent, and there was ,what I’m going to assume was, toothpaste on the sink handle. The front desk was really cool, easy going helpful and understood that it was late and we just wanted to sleep. That was REALLY well appreciated”
