「This stay started out bad on day 1. I arrived at 2:30 in the afternoon, 30 minutes before their check-in time, which is usually no problem for other hotels, it's difficult to plan your trip where you're driving all day and arrive right at check-in time. Well, the lady at the desk told me check-in time is 3:00, come back in 30 minutes, she said they were still cleaning. So, I went to sit in my truck for 30 minutes and watched the maids clean up the last 3 rooms, when I got my key, the room they...

「The Lodge is under new ownership, and I was told they’re gradually improving things. However, I can only review the experience we had. While it is rustic and homey, we had some issues during our stay. + The check in/out process was very easy. + When our room only had 2 bath towels, the staff responded very quickly to get us 2 more. - The AC in our room was broken. - The ice machine was broken. - There was a crack/hole in the bathroom floor. - The tub was dirty and needed to be scrubbed....

「This should be a 1 star review. The ONLY saving grace here was the staff at the front desk and the manager. Will not stay here again, too much corporate casino monopoly. Outrageous pricing at the hotel and the gas station across the street that the Golden Nugget happens to own as well.」

「I’m usually REALLY easy-going about cleanliness, but the bathroom was filthy. There were pee stains on the toilet seat left from the previous people, the sheets had an odor that was really pungent, and there was ,what I’m going to assume was, toothpaste on the sink handle. The front desk was really cool, easy going helpful and understood that it was late and we just wanted to sleep. That was REALLY well appreciated」
