「This is a great hotel. I’ve stayed here multiple times over the years and always enjoy the stay. The hotel is in a great location-overlooking Lake Superior with lots of parking, nice amenities, wonderful staff and walking distance to downtown Ashland (good restaurants, stores and entertainment). I love the history of the place and with the updates it’s even more comfortable. My only complaint, ever, has been with other guests. 「The room was spotless, decorated beautifully, quiet, had bathrobes to use in sauna, was prepped for our arrival both temperature and lit, had access to a coffee and beverage bar down the hall, and bottles of water in the room. Has elevator AND stairs to rooms on second floor. The Social Club downstairs was accessible inside the building, again decorated well, comfortable seating and inviting.
