「This is a recently renovated Gold Rush era hotel, very quaint and authentic. The rooms and bathrooms have been updated to modern standards which is nice, but have authentic period decor/antiques. The town is VERY small and cute, extremely quiet (in general) and a walkable historic self-guided tour. It makes a great base of operations for exploring the area. A couple of things to know: it is 3 story, but because of the age, there is no elevator (typical with Gold Rush era hotels). They have one...

「We were in town to visit friends in the area. We just needed a place to sleep. This place was clean and private in a nice neighborhood close to town. The host provided plenty of water and coffee that we enjoyed. The bed was very comfortable.」
