Be aware that some rooms have a shared bathroom depending on which you choose. The gift shop in Spean Bridge is one of the best we saw in Scotland.”

“This was by far the most joyful stay we had in Scotland. Beautiful views of the mountain range from the the common areas and the porches. We had a twin room on the second floor and while there is no AC, opening the windows cooled it down within the hour. Besides we were staying in a heat wave in late June which is highly unusual. “Very very bad experience with high room rate. First day check in the radiator was malfunction, then the manager offered a dusty and dirty portable heater. The hair dryer also occasionally out of order. The second day the room was cleaned with used towels left and room and floor was not cleaned. The third day no cleansing and also NO hot water supply. Though staff were tried to help and offered bottle of wine, but you can imagine how bad the experience during the stay. Will tell my friends not to……
