「We loved the privacy and seclusion of the property. The front desk and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant menu was fine for about 2 nights, but if one stayed longer, it was limited. Some of the lounge chairs were looking a bit worn. We would have liked the pool to be accessible for evening swimming. The pool area was completely dark by 7 pm. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Sugar Beach Hotel.」

「The staff were so hospitable and accommodating! I was traveling with my partner for my birthday, and the hotel staff surprised us with wine and a birthday cake to my room free of charge! The food was good for the most part, although two of the eateries were closed due to construction, they also were very amenable to food allergies and restrictions (I have a gluten sensitivity). 「非常棒的酒店，环境一流、服务一流，尤其是餐厅的饭非常好吃。我们之前在La Fortuna另一家非常高档的酒店呆了几天，但是饭不怎么好，没法与这里比。建议去亚洲餐厅试一下，我们喜欢Wok，但注意他的炒米饭油太大，我们第二顿要求少放油结果很好。早上免费瑜伽也很好。住在这里也有温泉的tour，好像比直接住温泉酒店便宜。服务员都是帅哥靓妹。」

「I plan on returning. The hotel is nestled in the heart of San Jose, it's a huge property. I chose it for the decor/culture of Costa Rica.
