“Off season stay not worth the $ Ideally great location and Inn set up would perhaps be nice during peak season. Erica was pleasant on phone but zero staff inhouse--Inn completely empty on our stay. Advertising either via Expedia or Inn itself inaccurate--no breakfast despite repeated welcome texts saying different. Unable to use fireplace in suite as lighting of unit faulty and to be honest, didn't seem safe. Was told it was "an older unit" when we spoke with owner. Ran into a big……

“Everything was great! Loved the bed, and work out facility, and the breakfast was nice. The staff so friendly! I came in from Ohio, to do the Main Coast Half marathon; and will be back and would stay at this hotel! My suircase was heavy, and the hotel staff helped me get into my car! Talk about helpful!!!”

“Firs, I will say the towels were clean. The room however was shabby beyond compare. The floor isn't level. There are holes in the wall. The curtains are falling off the rod and held in place with zip ties. There were dead bugs on the floor. The rug was stained. The bed was sunken in the middle. The dead bolt on the door doesn't work. I don't know how this owner can allow people to stay there in this condition.”

“The office is a beautiful, comfortable space. Staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. The room was clean, the coffee pot cracker, and the bed/pillows incredibly comfortable. Appreciated having the in-room fridge. The breakfast is better described as continental. If you want protein, hit up The Egg and I or an actual diner/café. And if you do grab breakfast at the motel, you’ll be eating that breakfast outside or in your room. Just things to keep in mind Overall 3.5/5.”

“Mark, at the front desk, was amazing! He took time to explain all the hotel features and even the area, have dining options and tips for exploring the area. He was excellent! The room itself was pristine! Beautiful, so spacious and had everything we needed for a relaxing night! Would 100% recommend the Grasshopper Inn to anyone coming to Maine! Loved our stay!”

“Highly recommend the staff was so friendly and room was tidy and clean every day. Hot coffee in the morning was good and fresh and strong. Morning sun rise with the ocean was a bonus every day. Shower was strong and hot. Unusual for a motel. ”
