"The room was really clean, we had trouble with the heating which was sorted. Breakfast there was plenty of choice and more then one station to get the breakfast items from so you didn't que for long. "

"Exceptional location - a few steps to Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, South Bank, St James underground station. The hotel is basic (bring your own shampoo etc) but it is clean & the staff are friendly & helpful. "

"A very pleasant stay and perfectly licated for theatreland and central London attractions. Very attentive and friendly staff, quick and easy check-in and able to leave bags early so we could go explore. Room was very clean and comfortable with incredible views. Bathroom very clean with plenty of toiletries. Well presented breakfast with plenty of choice."

"We had a lovely stay at The Strand Palace. The hotel is in a fabulous location very close to Covent Garden, the theatre district and many other attractions. The room was to a high standard. The bed was comfy. The amenities were great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was delicious with lots of variety."

"This is what I call a proper London hotel - it has everything you need. A great bar & restaurant, a coffee shop/snack bar, a convenience shop and a concierge and all in a fantastic location! Despite the hotel being almost fully booked, we were offered an upgrade to a larger room which was greatly appreciated. The room was huge with a bath and a shower plus a great range in the complimentary room service fridge. My only negative comments are that the lifts are very slow and it’s a bit of a scrum when everyone returns at the same time and that some areas are looking little tired - but overall we had a great couple of nights and would definitely look at booking again next time we are in London! "
