“Property was very clean and all communication handled over WhatsApp. We were moved to a different building the day our booking was meant to start due to maintenance issues. This was all handled via WhatsApp. Reception in different building, 10min walk away. There were lots of stairs and convoluted hallways - this was difficult for my elderly mother. Sofa bed is actually just a hard sofa that folds at a 90 degree angle. I’d only put a child or person weighing less than 40kgs in it. Other beds……

“Onsite parking is restricted by the number of spaces. They were all full when we arrived so some guests must have had more than 1 car. It would be helpful to allocate at least 1 space per apartment. Cars had parked right up to the access making it difficult to get to the front door. We parked up the road in a good, safe car park but it cost £11.50 for 24 hrs. The apartment was lovely and had everything we needed. Nice, comfy beds and a good bathroom. The weather had changed and was much cooler……

“We are senior citizens so the electronic entry system via an app was a challenge but with help we got it to work. The property advertises itself as a Hen and Stag Party venue but that never appeared as part of the information on the Hotels.com website or we wouldn't have bookrd it!
