“The standard room sold by Expedia is directly on the highway but customers are sold a tranquil “nature experience.” It is the opposite of a “nature experience”. The hotel should inform customers in advance that the rooms sold by Expedia are on the highway so they know they will hear traffic all night. The reception is as unhelpful and charged me twice. Bad experience. Also paint peeling in the bathtub.”

“Lovely stay at this hotel with friendly staff and great pool. Location was excellent a few minutes walk to town centre and right next to El Escorial.”

“The hotel is bad need for a makeover. Furniture was right out of the 60's budget store. There was only one electrical outlet and it was at the entrance to the room at floor level. Bed was overly firm. To be fair the washroom looked to be renovated and was good and clean the main entrance facade was modern and inviting but as soon as you entered the lobby you realize that it was downhill from there. Way overpriced for what you get.”

“Our room was clean and tidy with a fantastic view of the monastery. It gets very noisy down in the street below esp at night. The common areas and the dining room are dark and quite gloomy.”

“Es un hostal tipo autoservicio, limpio, con lo mínimo necesario. El espacio es un tanto reducido, particularmente un baño abuhardillado en el que había que entrar agachado y en el que solo se puede permanecer de pie en una estrecha franja. Adecuado si lo usas solo para dormir.”

“A room with a spectacular view. Very spacious and clean. Highly recommend this Hotel. Check in was flawless, staff very helpful. A short walk to many restaurants. A great hub to do day trips. Recommend visiting Segovia. The public parking is about 300m away and expensive at 30 € for 24 hours. Parking on the street is a long shot and you need to pay.”

“Habitación limpia, con aire acondicionado. El ventilador de extracción de olores del baño hace demasiado ruido. Localización tranquila. Camas pequeñas pero cómodas. Dos almohadas en cada cama y muebles aceptables. El wifi no lo probamos y la tele bien. Por el precio que costó no está mal pero no volvería. Al pueblo, Brunete, si volveremos”
