“It was a quaint inn. They had a small pool in a quiet courtyard. Friendly staff. Breakfast is included. ”

“The place is very well located and clean. Bear in mind that parking is an issue! Nothing to do with the hotel but the area. Find parking nearby and then head to the hotel. If you are planning on staying in the area, you won’t need the car. Service was superb, I got all I needed and all questions answered. They are truly committed to good service”

“First off, I would like to say that Ivannie and Jose, we’re very accommodating hosts. Jose was easy to talk to and responded promptly and was always professional. The area was nice. There are a couple of bars, wonderful small restaurants, and a delicious coffee shop that all are in walking distance. We tried about 4 restaurants in the area, and all were great! The beach (literally a 5 minute walk) was the best part. Keep in mind that there are apartment complexes that block the ocean view, so……

“I arrived super late at night but it was super easy to get into the facility. I had a private twin bed and it was perfect for a four day stay. It was okay it could have been cleaner but it did the job! the showers were nice. Even the people staying there were really cool - invited me to play cards/drink. The area is really nice - very walkable to the beach and lot of restaurant options which I loved. I def will be back if I need another quick trip to PR.”

“We enjoyed our time at Mare and had a very good experience. The one issue is that what you see in the pictures is not necessarily what you will get and the rooms vary greatly. Some had a refrigerator, others didn't; some had shelves and spacious bathrooms; our room had only a clothes rack with 5 hangers and you could only fit one person in the bathroom at a time. Only one room had a luggage rack so most of us lived out of our suitcase on the floor. The pool picture is not of the pool at Mare,……

“Nice older well maintained apartments. All gated so very secure. Plenty of towels and even beach towels. Walking distance to the beach and some very nice restaurants. Ask for off street parking!”
