"A gem of a property. The room was large and comfortable with nice amenities. Free entry into the gardens for residents and it was nice that so long as you are in before they close, you can exit back to the resort on your own time. Check in staff were friendly, but when checking out, I wasn’t acknowledged and felt like i had disturbed the receptionist when I asked what to do with the key. Also forgot breakfast was included so sadly missed out on that.
The fireside bar was lovely and casual and the live music was fun. Great beers on tap too, with a friendly hardworking bunch of bar staff.
We would absolutely stay again. Beautiful place and a nice, quaint town, surrounded by Christmas tree farms, making the drive to the state park pretty."
