「臨街無電梯,有時半夜街上行人的雜聲」

「I paid full board including the evening meals as a birthday treat for my wife, which was quite a bit extra, but at the end of our stay they charged me again for dinners. The receptionist said that becouse I had not booked directly through them I was not entitled to do this, which ment paying twice for the meals, and that I was misinformed by the waitress who had said that the meals would be deducted from my final bill. The staff where very nice but didn't seem to know much about this situation...

「The hotel is a bit inconvenient unless you are driving. The cleanliness needs to be improved. 」

「It was short walk from the train station and like 50 minutes from London. The restaurant in the hotel is pretty good and the bus to colchester city center is pretty good. The hotel was clean and check out was pretty easy as well.」

「Vanessa and Steve were exceptional hosts and the facilities at “The Foxes Den” suited us perfectly. Everything was most satisfactory and we ended our stay with a delicious full English breakfast which kept us going for quite a while!!! We would recommend a stay there to everyone visiting the area for a peaceful and very comfortable night.」

「Beautiful old property that is very well maintained. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Didn’t get to try the food but menu sounded great for breakfast lunch and dinner. Nice bar area with no TVs as a distraction. Would definitely stay here again.」
