Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental was amazing! 2 story with plenty of space for a large family. The washer and dryer were an added perk! Both balconies had great views. Don’t forget to bring your own trash bags, hand soap, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, and paper plates+ plastic cups for kids.

Seemed like the dryer didn't dry well with one cycle but maybe I just didn't know how to use it? Overall great stay just some suggestions.

Our 4th Gen Family Silver Dunes Re-Stay—a Tradition since 1977

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Obviously, we know things have changed over the years. Some good, some not so good...Unit/units were fine. Do not like having to wait til “exactly” 4pm to get in knowing no one stayed in units the night before!!! Especially having groceries with us ( and 5 babies ages 4 and under after a 9 1/2 hour drive).Grass was NOT fine. SD has let it go. And trash in bushes. Never saw one yard or maintenance man.Pool was closed too long for (1) episode. Ruined an entire 12 hours.Please bring back the CLOCK to pool area.Rules not enforced. Towels hanging from balconies on some days.One of my biggest eyesores from staying in Highrise, and should be a rule breaker —two families took it upon themselves to take over portions of the green area. Unit 106A had 5 6’ round tables and 30 white chairs set out a couple of nights like it was their own venue—with a huge projection screen.Across from them in unit 106C (?), that unit staked out their area in the green with pole lighting and left that up the whole WEEK of their stay. Lit up at night! What??? I can’t believe ANY of this is allowed, but management did not stop them. Horrendous and arrogant. And Such a ****** sight from our units in the Highrise. Please make note of this.I can’t say anything about the beach service contracted out—because it’s not George. But it was the pits. No one bothered to check on you, rake up the sorgassum for 3 days. I guess it’s the generation of doing little, except being on their cell phone—which they were.And not once did I see the security guard. Hmm. Not sure there even is one to be honest.You asked for feedback, and I’ve given some.Sadly, I doubt it will make any difference and will fall on deaf ears.At least I have my memories of the best years at SD. Just wish the younger generations had the same.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love coming to Silver Dunes! This was our family’s 5th time! All the units we have stayed in have been good! This one was the most comfortable and had the perfect amount of space for our family, plus 3 more that joined us this year (8 total). Love being able to walk out so quickly to the beach. Beach service was excellent! I am sure our family will be back again soon!
