“It was an awkward stay we booked two nights and cards deactivated after first night. Then got a new card got back room to chill for a bit then the front desk lady just opens the door for unknown reasons. The lobby is pretty for decor and pictures.”

“This newer facility is comfy, even if it's full. The free parking and wifi are great, breakfast has hot and cold options, desk people are friendly/helpful. Downtown Des Moines has mostly app-pay parking; during April multi-tornados, all was well-safe. Bike paths everywhere, walking paths nearby, East Village is charming, Science Center/ballpark walkable. Neighborhood is newer with lots of younger denizens.”

“Perfect location! Checking in was so easy and pleasant. Our beautiful room and view overlooking courtyard and the river was wonderful. Later, we asked another desk clerk about ordering pizza. He, too, couldnt have been nicer or more professional. We highly recommend this hotel!!”

“Stayed here while in town for a show and loved that this was within walking distance of the arena. The staff was very nice and friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and orderly. Had everything we needed for the stay. Would definitely stay again. ”

“Amazing stay. The bed was a little firm, but still comfortable. The amenities were so good. I can’t think of a time when I had full sized bottles for shampoo, conditioner, and body wash and at such high quality. Will be staying here again. ”

“Staff was great. Hotel was pretty clean, but not perfect. Our first night, our AC hardly worked and the bed was rock hard, so we switched rooms. Second night was much better. ”
