“Very quiet and tucked away”

“It was just perfect! Well equipped and comfortable house and super location.”

“Everything was as noted in the listing. We came up for a family getaway for the weekend. There was 10 of us total plenty of room for the kids to sleep and run around there was a rope swing out side that kept them busy and outside adventuring. The hot tub was definitely nice in the evenings after the kids went to bed along with the complementary adult beverages. The host were very prompt to responding back to us at any time. We will be coming back again for a longer stay in the future. Thank you……

“This house was so beautiful! It was huge! It had so many amenities from the pool, BBQ grill, ping pong table, cornhole, pool table, basketball court, pickle ball etc. Absolutely loved the decor and how spacious the house was esp the kitchen. Great for large families. So many places to sit whether it be the large dining table in the atrium or in the kitchen. We even enjoyed the media room and watched movies together there. The kids loved to see the frogs in the pond. Everything was just perfect……

We especially loved cooking in the kitchen and we all took note that it was equipped with everything we needed. We also loved the big fireplace during our rainy stay. “Had a fantastic stay at Il Respiro! The pool is fantastic so we spent most of our time going down the slide! Would be great if there were plastic cups and plates since you'll likely end up mostly outside taking advantage of the fresh air and watching the local wildlife.”

“The property is charming and as stated in the listing. the main issue were ants throughout, which should have been sprayed for or notify us that we would need to spray. Elsie is very responsive to any needs or questions.”

“My family stayed here for a short weekend trip. The house is amazing. It is exactly as described, very clean, and has all the amenities you could need. The host, Chris, was incredibly responsive to all our questions and accommodated our late arrival by ensuring lights were on to make it easier on us. The location is great and there is a lot to do nearby and on the property. Our only regret is we couldn't stay longer! Hope to come back again another time. Thanks, Chris!”

“Overall our stay was great. The actual house and location are beautiful. This house has four levels and many stairs are involved from the driveway to the front door, then to the main floor, and up again to bedrooms. We had to buy extra paper goods because there were not enough plates or coffee cups for our group. Also, the yard was disappointing. There are many beautiful places to sit outdoors except we only had one outdoor chair. Both the jacuzzi and the bbqs were not working. If you want to……

“We chose this property in large part for the location off the beaten path but within easy striking distance of the Folsom area. It provided exactly the peace and quiet we had hoped, and that made our down time and sleeping much better than somewhere busier. Arrival was smooth, and the property was clean, although no what I would call high level ‘industry standard’ clean. Given the length of our stay we also expected to clean as we went anyway. “I’m a mom of three kids, and told my husband that all I wanted for Mother’s Day was a night to myself, full of self care and good sleep. This cozy cottage was more than I ever expected. I loved the antiques incorporated into the decor and farmhouse feel. The bed was so comfortable and the outdoor environment was charming and inviting. The hostess was communicative and kind.”
