"While traveling with our 15 year old son we stayed the weekend in this lovely cottage on the property of Victor an Carina just south of Edinburgh. The hosts are showed wonderful hospitality and the cottage is comfortably set up to sleep three (or four). Great attention to details of all we needed for a comfortable stay including notes for outings in the area and for getting to Edinburgh by bus or train. We definitely want to return to this beautiful cottage with wonderful hosts."

"We had a last minute change of plans and I needed to find suitable accommodation for my family of 4. I came across the 'Garden House' in my initial search and compared 5 other similar solutions. None measured up and that was only based on the images. The pictures undersold the property, utterly. The Garden House became a serendipitous highlight of our trip to Edinburgh. "Thank you for a perfect weekend. House was so well located beside a garden centre and the coastal path - and in a beautiful area. It was ideal for coastal walks. Sun shone most of the weekend which made for lovely views of the sea and for exploring the surrounding villages. The house itself was comfortable and homely and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook in the evenings - local produce was all delicious too. Jeanette couldn’t have been kinder as she offered us an early check in too...

"Came in from The USA for a trip with members of our golf club. The location to St. Andrews and the golf in the local area was tremendous. Cannot be beat: 20 mins to the old course // other great golf courses within a 5 or 25 minute ride. Great location in town, 10 minute walk to the beach, with really different food options. Must have the fresh baked goods from the Coo-oop!! They were the friendliest trying to guess where my American accent was from!! The house allowed for everyone to do...

"Idyllic is the word - Pittenweem is a lovely little fishing village and a great base for wider travel, and this house is just perfect - really well presented, large enough that you aren't all tripping over each other and very quiet. Sam is a terrific host too."

"We recently stayed at May Cottage and it was just what we needed. The cottage is lovely and much bigger than we anticipated, especially the bedrooms - they’re a really big! Kitchen has everything you need and even though we had taken hand wash and washing up liquid etc, it was all provided. Even dishwasher tablets! The views from the garden are exceptional and it was very quiet. We loved sitting watching the families of swallows flying in and out of their nests and listening their babies...

"First time in Pittenweem. The flat was small but we didn’t need anything bigger. Space had been used carefully and was well furnished. When the wood burning stove got going it made for a cosy experience. Pleasant seafront area nearby and Anstruther is only half a mile or so away. St. Andrews is about 20 minutes by car. Well worth a short visit (three nights for us)."

"We had a lovely time. Unfortunately none of us could connect to Wi-Fi had no signal what so ever. One of our party managed to connect briefly for 10 mins but the other 3 could not so this was hopeless. In the en-suite every time we used it there would be clipshears crawling down the walls, on the floor or in the shower. I think we must have found and disposed of aver 50. I think you need to fill in all the gaps in the walls and floors in en-suite. Other than these two points everything was...

"An excellent property to rent outside of Edinburgh. Perfect for dogs and families. The cottage was warm and well lit when we arrived and the fireplace was already prepped with a basket full of logs. The manager of the property was very friendly and she came over to introduce herself and check we had everything we needed. Strongly recommend and will be going back."
