“Our stay at the Royalton Vessence Barbados was absolutely amazing. They didn’t have all restaurants open and I kind of expected that as they had only been open for a couple weeks prior to us coming. However, they did an amazing job at rotating which places would be open at a time. The food was great. “We stayed here the last weekend of June with 2 other couples. Each of us had a great time. Food hands down was delicious no matter where you ate at the resort (Umi being our favorite). Location was great - we were 5 mins from Savvy beach and 15 mins from Oistins Flying Fish. Staff was always pleasant and took the time to know us during our stay. Literally no complaints on our end. If you are younger and want more activities/pool games/night life etc. then this may not be 1st choice, but for us……

They are super slow with check in. The entire stay was the worst experience I’ve ever had in Barbados. Accommodations: The hotel us cute if you’re in to vintage style living. However running out of water when you have natural water source is insane. We were told that the water would be out from 2-6 pm on one of the days and……

“Gorgeous beaches Small resort but cozy and clean. Newly renovated so everything is nice. Food selection is bare minimum and not always catering to vegans. Nightly entertainment only some nights and ends by 9:30 pm. Shelley was amazing and attentive but other staff sometimes ignores you.”

“The hotel has a lovely location and the staff are so friendly and helpful. My only complaint is the food, particularly breakfast. It used to be so good but has gone downhill. This wouldn’t put me off returning because the bedroom refurbishment is greatly improved and the staff are so nice.”
