“This is not a hotel but at best a basic hostel. No amenities, no elevator, dismal, dingy, dirty rooms and bathrooms. No eating facilities except in the very basic rooms with no seating except the small beds. Sub standard breakfast provided on scruffy roof area,5 floors up with steep stairs and a few chairs with ripped and filthy seats. Rooms have small frosted windows which are covered to hide the awful views of the very run down neighbourhood. Left after 2 nights with our friends, the……

The area if not safe and walkable, the staff is friendly but as most people in Egypt they will try to take advantage, people overprice everything over there because they are looking for comisión .
