“Beautiful Property, Not a True Luxury Experience At $1,500+ per night, the expectation is a seamless luxury experience. Casa de Campo is visually beautiful, but service and value did not match the price. Check-in required a 25+ minute wait for a “concierge check-in”, while 2 front desk agents remained unoccupied, yet there was no meaningful property overview or proactive assistance. The room was standard at best and consistently humid. We had booked expecting a hot tub, but only select rooms……

“We had a wonderful stay! We stayed in the adult side with preferred access. The food, hotel, spa and especially the beach were just outstanding! ”

“Just left after 10 days. Rooms great (we had Secrets Preferred), beach spectacular, nice pools and pool bars. But restaurants only so, so. We tried 6 restaurants to try and get a good steak. Not one good one. Tough meat and always overcooked, sorry to say. Lambchops at Bordeaux were excellent and good seafood at Tierra. Otherwise pretty mediocre food at the a la carte restaurants. We live in Chicago, with world class restaurants, but are not food snobs and do not expect great food at……
