“Room was excellent bed supper comfy and the pillows amazing! Had an amazing steak for dinner with peppercorn sauce! Breakfast full English on point highly recommended ”

“A warm welcome greeted us in reception the room was clean, tidy and fully equipped. The staff were very friendly and made us feel at home, overall it was a very pleasant stay and we will certainly return.”

“To be honest it was very loud from the gig place from across the road (Saturday) but it calmed down & it was quiet for the rest of the stay in spir of the house's very central location (& lots of good music in town). I had an issue with the window & appreciated that the hotel owner responded & resolved the situation.The rooms are lovingly decorated & warm, and the bed was very comfy. ”

“Overall it's good. The service is excellent, and the room is cosy. But there was only one drawback which we met a private party. Therefore, the spa, Sunna cannot used as much as we can.”

“This hotel is part of the Best Western Sure Collection. I have stayed here several times before and not been disappointed. I am delighted to say that this stay was no different but actually exceeded expectations. The staff on reception were so friendly and welcoming. I booked in for an evening meal. My room was around the back where there was additional parking in from of the lodge. My room was a suite with a proper full size, king size bed. There were welcome gifts on hand and the whole room……

“A great bedroom in a house that's full of character. En-suite shower-room with a fabulous shower. Warm and welcoming hosts. Fantastic breakfast with seriously good vegetarian options. Go there! We certainly will again. ”

“Lovely hard working and professional staff, breakfast tip-order poached eggs off the menu as they a simply the best and as perfect as possible poached eggs you’ll find anywhere. Lovely building, clean throughout and not too far from the town centre to walk. ”

“We spend a good time in this hotel. Room is clean and tidy. Comfortable bed. Bath water smoothy. They also serve good breakfast。We arrived after ten at night and the front desk waited us patiently.Just 10 minutes walking to the old town.Free parking is a surplus.The restaurant in town they recommended is tasteful. Recommend to all. ”

“We had a lovely stay, the beautiful surroundings made it very peaceful and relaxing. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The only downside was not being able to walk to any restaurants. ”

Dianna and her amazing team even helped out by washing and drying some clothing. Mid way through my work trip it was as a relief to know I had clean business and personal clothing. The young bar staff were also very kind and welcoming. ”

Fantastic double room very light and spacious loved the amenities selection , very large en suite with a bath as well as shower. Lovely meal great good menu choices in a cozy setting next to the fire with a really good bar selection too. ”
