The beds are NOT king and queen. They’re double beds and a single twin. They also did not provide more than one set of towels for each guest. Didn’t have wine glasses (we bought some). Would have been nice to have instructions on how to run the washer/dryer too (it’s a combo unit). Things are simply not the same in Europe for Vrbo accommodations as they are in the States which is fine, but the bed descriptions are THE reason we chose to book this place

Das Haus war zwar schön, aber in vielerlei Hinsicht sehr frustrierend. Es mag Unterschiede zwischen den Gepflogenheiten in den USA und in Spanien geben, aber in der Anzeige auf Vrbo waren zwei Kingsize-Betten und ein Doppelbett angegeben. Das stimmte absolut nicht, denn es gab zwei Doppelbetten und ein Einzelbett. Als 1,93 m großer Mann waren die Betten extrem unbequem, meine Beine hingen über den Rand. Als dann noch ein Freund zu Besuch kam, war es auch unverständlich, dass ich nach zusätzlichen Handtüchern greifen musste – das Haus war für fünf Personen inseriert, daher hätte es keine Rolle spielen dürfen, dass wir nur zu dritt waren, und Handtücher hätten bereitgestellt werden müssen. Die Böden waren sehr schmutzig. Auch die Regale im Kleiderschrank waren sehr staubig, denn als wir unsere Kleidung herausnahmen, die wir darauflegen mussten, waren sie staubig. Es gab keine Weingläser … für ein Haus im spanischen Weinanbaugebiet … also kaufte ich welche, wurde aber anschließend vom Vermieter dafür gerügt. Als Amerikaner war mir die Waschmaschine mit Trockner völlig neu, und es gab keine Bedienungsanleitung, sodass ich mir ein YouTube-Video ansehen musste. Die Fernbedienung für das Tor funktionierte bei unserer Ankunft nicht und war zudem defekt (der Eigentümer/Verwalter hat sie zwar ersetzt und mir eine neue geschickt), aber das war die einzige Möglichkeit, das Grundstück zu betreten. Die Unterkunft war für unsere Zwecke ideal, aber die Erfahrung war sehr frustrierend, da wir hier nicht das gewohnte Erlebnis hatten, was wir von anderen Ferienwohnungen in Amerika oder im Ausland kennen. Allein die Betten – die Beschreibung der Schlafzimmer auf Vrbo war der Hauptgrund, warum ich diese Unterkunft anderen vorgezogen hatte – haben mich extrem enttäuscht, ganz zu schweigen von der Erschöpfung nach elf Nächten mit schlechtem Schlaf.
