“Truly a spectacular & stylish hidden gem, almost feels like we have the whole place to ourselves. Plus, pool, gardens, it’s quiet, peaceful with many free activities you can do. Includes paddle boards and kayaks so you can do it for free when you stay with them. Stunning Sunsets at the property phenomenal staff, and amenities! Pet Friendly too. Fresh breakfast with quality goods and spectacular fresh squeezed orange juice. We had an amazing stay, wish it could have been for longer - Jetted tub……

“The property was clean and inviting. We stayed in the room above the office. It was very quiet, clean and smelled fresh. The staff was excellent; he answered our questions and was very helpful when approached. Would happily stay here again! ”

“All I can say is…. Ahhhhh!! Loved it. The rooms are so comfy and beautiful with your own patio/lanai— there isn’t a “bad room” in the whole place. They have added so much lush tropical foliage— it’s truly gorgeous. The bar drinks are a bit pricey. But we had a wonderful time!! Will go back!”

“Sands of Islamorado is a hidden gem. It is a very well maintained piece of Americana. Rooms are updated, spacious and very clean. The pool / lounging area is very well maintained. Got there late and did not meet staff but you can tell they take pride. This was my first time actually stopping in the Keys on the way to Key West and was not let down. Next trip will include several nights at the Sands of Islamorado. ”

“This property is not at all as it appears on Expedia. While the Front Office Manager was lovely, the property is very dated and tired looking. When we walked into our room we were overwhelmed by the smell of mildew such that we could not stay. We left the key on the counter and searched for another property. When we told the Front Office Manager we did not stay she did offer to move us to another room but given the property was not at all what we expected we declined. While the staff must……

“Very pleasantly surprised with the location and quality of this resort. The water view is available throughout the property and this resort is well taken care of. The pool was exceptionally clean and refreshing. ”

“The rooms were sparsely stocked. No cups and blankets. It did not look like the pictures. It was dark. But clean! The shower broke around 8pm and maintenance came right away. Check-in lady was nice but made me feel like at warned child. Neat place! New experience!”

“The room is smaller than in the photos and rooms are more run down. WiFi never worked during our stay and we did not receive the complimentary cocktail and snack upon arrival as promised. Staff wasn't great but they did fix the broken shower head the day before we left. It was fine but not as great as we hoped for. Would've been 2 stars if they didn't fix the shower head. ”
