"The cottage is really well equipped, clean and welcoming. It's at the top of the hill, behind the church and near to the lovely Safe Harbour pub. It's an easy walk to and from the town centre, but positioned away from the hustle and bustle of beautiful and busy Fowey. Perfect for us and our two dogs."

"My wife and I stayed at this property in July. I have to stay the owners have made it a warm and welcoming place with everything finished to a high standard. You can see a lot of time and effort had been put into making anyone's stay really enjoyable and the place was spotless.When booking I did worry about parking but there is a small pull in opposite the property where you can quickly unload and the carpark is another 200 meters past it on the right called Caffa Mill and only charged 17.90 for the whole week. The property also has a small terrace overlooking the slipway and river we spent many a time eating breakfast or at night having a drink watching the boats go by and people swimming.From the property its a five to ten minute stroll which is pretty level with only one slight incline on the way back which is easy for us older folk.When you in the centre of Fowey there is plenty of places to eat and have a nice drink with stunning views and on the way back there is a Spar shop for your essentials.I don't think I have ever written such a long review (and I could go on) but to me this place is a real little gem and would highly recommend a stay at this property. Just one thing to note there is a small sairway to negotiate to the property but I am 67 and didn't find it a problem.Lastly the property owners were all ways on hand if needed and replied to any messages quickly.They need to pat themselves on the back for creating a lovely home from home rental"

"Nice cottage..nice spot.. a bit of a walk to car parks. And unloading a problem on arrival. Lovey view of church. Like the bells. Good access to shops, beach and resturants One bedroom is a walk through from another bedroom Overall very good"

"Hotel is located near the harbour and all the shops. It has a nice restaurant with outdoor seating but be mindful of seagulls if eating outside. I booked a classic room. It was small and and a bit hot with the current weather."

"My mum and I visited The Old School House to celebrate mums birthday. A 2 night girls trip stay with my dog.The property was lovely and clean, hot tub nice and hot….a little too chemically for my skin, but that can happen so it wasn’t a concern.I reported that the heating was on in one of the rooms and far too hot and the team came back to me promptly to rectify. Lovely beds.All in all a lovely few days. "
